Amino, leaders in hybrid TV and cloud solutions, has secured two major regional business awards to mark a highly successful transformative year for the company.
At last night’s prestigious Cambridge News Business of the Year awards at Kings College, Cambridge, the Company secured both the “Large Business of the Year” and overall “Business of the Year” trophies.
CEO Donald McGarva stepped up to receive the awards from BBC journalist and presenter Justin Webb in front of an audience drawn from the region’s business community. To win the award, Amino faced stiff competition from a number of high-achieving regional companies and a grilling by leading business figures.
Donald commented: “To win one award is a significant achievement – but to win two is a major coup for our business and we are absolutely delighted to secure these trophies in front of our peers in this great innovative region of the country.
“It’s testimony to the tremendous strides we’ve made over the last year and half as a global business and the hard work and commitment of our people all over the world.”
In its full year results for 2016, Amino reported strong revenue and profit growth and the fifth consecutive year of dividend increase since 2011.
