Amino Achieves Milestone IPTV Deployment in the United States

Leading systems integrator, LTS Group delivers first implementation of Amino's HD DVR STB solution to US consumers

Cambridge, UK and Anaheim, CA - November 11, 2008: Amino Communications, the world leading IPTV platform supplier, today announced that LTS Community Networks, LLC (LTS), a leading Systems Integration company under the Ledcor Group of Companies, has selected Amino's AmiNET530 to deliver High Definition (HD) Digital Video Recording (DVR) IPTV to its customers in Bandon, Oregon. As a result of the deal, LTS is the first to deploy the AmiNET530 IPTV Set-Top Boxes (STB) to homes in North America through its local service provider ComSpan Communications.

Under the terms of the agreement, LTS, who bring triple play services to residential and businesses customers in mid to small rural communities across North America, offers Amino's AmiNET530 STB to its customers seeking premium and value-added IPTV services. LTS now has a complement of HD H.264 STBs after deploying Amino's AmiNET130.

LTS, a leading-edge Telecom Services Provider, specializes in network development, system architecture, installation, technical support and maintenance services in the North American telecommunication, utility and industrial industries.

"Amino and LTS share the same vision of providing customers with the most advanced IPTV services available on the market today - it's a great match," said Roy Kirsopp, VP and General Manager of Amino. "As LTS continues to grow, working with more companies across North America, we know the partnership will enable us to broaden the reach of our solutions to areas that have not yet experienced the power of HD DVR, IPTV services."

"We're very excited to work with Amino in bringing HD DVR IPTV services to homes in Bandon and our other local markets," said Todd Richard, Vice President and CTO of LTS. "We operate on a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) GPON network - so bandwith is not an issue or constraint for our customers. They want the best of IPTV and so working with Amino, we are confident that we can deliver exactly what the customers want. Furthermore, we look forward to expanding our reach together to other areas in Oregon and beyond."

The AmiNET530 is an advanced, compact and cost-effective DVR IPTV STB, which combines the benefits of low bit-rate codecs including H.264 Advanced Video Codec (AVC) and offers the user the ability to drive HD displays via analogue and HDMI connections. This advanced interactive STB also includes the ability to view recorded content either locally or via other connected STBs in the home.
