Tilgin announces TR069 interoperability with Aminos latest IPTV portfolio
Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multi-play and next-generation broadband access, today announces TR-069 interoperability with Amino’s IPTV latest range of products.
This latest integration confirms the two companies’ longstanding relationship in co-operating on this key enabler for remote device management. The key functions of Tilgin’s TR-069 platform are to perform initial device provisioning, upgrade services, troubleshoot and proactively alert operators about possible issues - often before the end customer realizes – also delivering significant operational cost improvements.
Amino’s devices are now verified with Tilgin's TR-069 ACS (tGem), a comprehensive remote management platform for all types of devices compliant with the Broadband Forum's TR-069 standard, covering devices such as IPTV STBs, home gateways and VoIP analogue adaptors.
Devices now compatible with Tilgin’s tGem platform include the mainstream A150/550 IPTV set-top box and the Live Advanced Media Platform, the high performance, future proof IPTV/OTT platform for advanced multi-stream recording and multiscreen content distribution.
Amino’s CEO, Donald McGarva says: “Reliability and quality are hallmarks of our product portfolio – and the ability to offer even higher levels of customer satisfaction drives our product development cycle. Interoperability with Tilgin’s ACS will further enhance our offering and enables our customers to proactively manage deployed devices – cutting costs and improving the end customer experience.”
Jonny Wetterborn Tilgin’s CEO says: “Working on interoperability with Amino STB proves once again tGem’s flexibility to provision, monitor and troubleshoot any TR-069 compliant device in the subscriber home. This gives operators the possibility to rapidly deploy and manage new IPTV services, and create new source of revenue”
