Amino CTO awarded IEE fellowship

Paul Fellows, Amino's Chief Technology Officer, has been awarded Fellowship of the IEE. Fellowship of the Institution of Electronic Engineers is the most senior category of membership and is awarded to members who have demonstrated significant individual responsibility, sustained achievement and exceptional professionalism during their careers to date.

In order to achieve IEE Fellowship, applicants must clearly demonstrate successful leadership or outstanding service to the engineering profession over an extended period.

Fellows joined Amino in 1998 in its start-up phase and since then has overseen the development of in-house technology and managed the expansion of the technical team. In July 2005, he was appointed to the Amino Board of Directors.

A Cambridge graduate with an MA in Natural Sciences, Fellows began his career in software design and implementation, working in a number of consultancy roles. Between 1995 and 1998, he was Chief Engineer for Pi Research Limited, where he worked on automotive electronics and telemetry systems for both Formula One and IndyCar race teams.

Bob Giddy, CEO, commented "Paul Fellows has been at the engineering heart of Amino since its inception. His technical expertise, as well as recruitment of the best engineering talent, has allowed the company to grow into an IPTV industry leader, winning accolades for its product design. Being awarded Fellowship of the IEE is testament to such achievements"
